Up Up and Away!

Our year together has come to an end. We had a celebration including rockets and cupcakes! Mr. Rodriguez came out to help us shoot off the rockets. Dr. Small got in on the action! He launched two rockets, and even caught one in mid-air!

Mrs. Rodriguez and Mrs. Owen have enjoyed our time with you all. We wish our fifth graders the best of luck in middle school. We hope you continue to foster a love for S.T.E.M. based activities as you move on to sixth grade. To our second, third, and fourth grade members: see you next year!

Way to Go STEM Club!

Our can drive was a success! We collected 52 pounds of cans and were able to purchase the tree to dedicate to our "Silver Owls" (Springwood faculty and staff serving 20 or more years.) During the ceremony we honored our four original staff members. They are pictured below in front of the tree.
